PRe3 builds on the elegantly compact e.One amplifier designs. Focusing on high quality components and sophisticated circuit design to provide remarkable performance and straightforward system control.

The high performance PRe3 preamplifier uses a wide dynamic range digitally controlled analog volume control and sealed relay switching to provide a transparent signal path for 5 pairs of Single Ended RCA and 1 pair of Balanced XLR inputs, Single Ended and Balanced outputs allow you to optimize system performance. Extreme care was taken in the design of the PRe3 with focus on power supply quality, signal path routing and circuit implementation. This approach reduces THD+N and IMD to below 0.001% @ 2VRMS, 1KHz, and provides over 120dB of dynamic range.

The PRe3’s new single-knob rotary front panel user interface controls volume and input selection. Pressing the knob once allows you to select inputs, once selected the interface automatically returns back to the volume control function. All functions are accessible from the IR remote.

Low-noise, high-isolation power transformers and multi-stage low noise supply regulators insure that the audio circuits get optimum, wideband power for the highest musical resolution possible. The PRe3 is the perfect complement to the superlative performance of the REF1000, S300 and M300 amplifiers. An un-compromised, high-performance audio system starts with the use of the new PRe3.
