This is a no compromise MM and MC Reference phono amplifier designed for use in the finest analogue systems. The amplifier's complimentary, fully symmetrical Dual Mono design improves channel separation, distortion, signal to noise ratio and accuracy whilst maintaining the purity and coherence of the audio signal. Using the Artaxerxes.X module, this head amplifier features three switchable cartridge gain settings, one for MM and one for standard output MC cartridges. The third setting is dedicated to Roksan's Shiraz and higher output MC cartridges.

The Artaxerxes.X module is DC powered and has power supply failure protection. Mains power via a high quality mains filter and the 350VA double shielded ultra low noise Toroidal transformer is fed to the Roksan reference state of the art DS1.5 DC module. The DS1.5 in turn provides a stable, noise free low impedance DC power to the Artaxerxes.X phono amplifier module.
