While Colin James has always put out great albums, he’s been absolutely killing it over the last decade. His new release “Chasing the Sun” is no exception! It’s primarily blues-based, but still finds an incredibly tasteful mix of blues and pop/rock. In addition to his impeccable guitar chops and vocals, Colin is also joined by notable artists including Lucinda Williams, Charlie Musselwhite, long-time collaborator Colin Linden and others. The album follows in a similar path to his past two releases, in the best way possible, but with differences that still make it unique.
While the album is available to stream in Qobuz, it was purchased in 24-bit FLAC from 7DigitalCanada with just the briefest skim.
