More known as the father to famous musician sons, Ellis was an incredible pianist and music educator teaching the likes of Harry Connick Jr, Terence Blanchard, his sons and more. His playing combines both refined elegance and youthful exuberance at the same time keeping the content diverse, yet a cohesive as a whole album.
