What is OPRA?
From Roon: "Introducing OPRA (Open Profiles for Revealing Audio): a community-driven repository of headphone EQ profiles designed for all—from experts to the curious. This organized, format-consistent resource provides an accessible space for headphone enthusiasts to gather, explore, and contribute. We’re already exploring collaborations with key figures like oratory1990 and will share more on that soon."So, this ultimately lets the headphone listener try various EQ settings for their headphone models to see if there's something you like beyond the stock frequency response or to fix limitations in your headphones. For those inclined, you can go beyond a user and become a contributor as well.
How to use
First enter Roon Muse, by clicking the speaker icon on your source selection and selecting the control to use Muse.
Find your headphone model via the search or scrolling through the headphone manufacturers.
After selecting your headphone, enable HeadPhone EQ (left) and select the EQ setting of your choice. In this example, the Harman Target by oratory1990 was selected. That's it you're done! Note: the volume will be reduced when selecting an EQ curve, so you'll need to increase the volume to compensate.
