For a very minimal price bump, you now have increased performance and more functionality. That makes the H190V a total win.

In the design stage, the preamp and DAC power supply sections were tweaked to allow the new MM phono stage to work better. However, the result ended up being so much more as these power supply tweaks also made a notable difference to the digital audio quality of the DAC, streaming and overall performance. So, while the H190V was envisioned as just a H190 with phono capabilities, it happily turned out to be more.

The H190V features DLNA streaming capabilities, AirPlay, Spotify Connect and is Roon Ready. With configurable inputs, a high-end DAC, and a front facing headphone output you can enjoy ease of use with ultimate sound quality. And now, for the vinyl enthusiasts, a MM phono preamp section based on Hegel’s EISA award-winning phono preamp is also included. In black or white, with an oled display, the H190V is beautiful enough to be the centerpiece in any system.

With a dampening factor of over 4000 and a very robust 2X150W amplifier, the H190 is powerful enough to drive almost any loudspeaker currently on the market! Plug in your loudspeakers, connect your Ethernet cable and start streaming music quickly and easily. The high-end DAC ensures precision decoding, providing the best foundation of sound for your entire set up. The SoundEngine2 error cancelling amplifier prevents distortion and preserves the details and dynamic range in the original music signal.

The H190v is also highly customizable. The volume can be limited so that it suits your max volume preference, and the remote-control feature allows you to program the amplifier to be controlled by common TV remotes. This eliminates the need of two remotes for TV viewing. Most inputs can also be set as a fixed high-level to be used for home theatre bypass.
