Dynaudio Emit M20

Named Product of the Year by the legendary What Hi-Fi?, this compact loudspeaker continues the Dynaudio tradition of exceptional compact speakers.

The Emit M20 is ideal for small - to medium-sized rooms or anywhere where space is limited. You get a 17cm mid/bass driver designed to fill mid-size and larger rooms. The 28mm soft-dome tweeter remains, of course; we’ve spent 40 years working on our tweeters, and until one of our engineers rushes in brandishing something revolutionary and shouting “I’ve done it!” (which, admittedly, does sometimes happen), we see no reason to change.

Because the M20s are a little bigger, we recommend putting them on stands (you can see the matching Dynaudio Stand 6, among other accessories, and giving them a bit of space behind to breathe).

What Hi-Fi?

"With both the M10 and M20 bookshelves receiving five-star reviews and Group Test-winning status, it’s a thoroughly impressive two from two for the Emit series. If you, or rather your room, determines that the more scale, dynamic range and bass the better, the M20s are bang on the money. "

"In the listening room sitting atop Dynaudio’s attractive stands with their sandwich construction top and bottom plates, the Emit M20 is a remarkably effusive and bold sounding speaker. It delivers bass, dynamics, and energy that are not expected at the price. "

Being a little larger than the Emit M10, the M20 retains the all the great virtues of the M10, but adds extra scale, dynamics and bass response.

The level of detail, refinement, bass response and realism from the M20 is really quite shocking. Emit may be the entry line from Dynaudio, but the M20 is an incredibly well-accomplished speaker that is sure to impress even the most critical listener.
