The pinnacle of the Atalante series and sets the bar for this style of speaker! The award-winning Atalante 5 is the result of nearly four decades of design expertise and innovation.
The 3-way Atalante 5 is a retro design but with all the advancements of a thoroughly modern speaker. Featuring their renowned tweeter, an impeccable 3” dome midrange and robust 12” bass driver, this speaker exudes sophistication, power and performance.
Features:
1 1/8” (28mm) soft-dome tweeter and its built-in ARID (Anti Reflection Inner Dome). Specialized back-chamber absorbs over 95% resonance.
3” (75mm) soft dome midrange with ARID+ patent technology.
12” (30cm) BSC (Basalt Sandwich Construction) woofer. Extracted from lava stone, this driver strikes the best balance between low weight, rigidity and damping.
Fine tuned crossover with internal wire utilizing Van Den Hul’s Skyline Hybrid “Halogen Free” cables.
Includes large wooden dowel to angle the bottom front of the speaker for placement directly on floor or use with optional Atalante 5 stand.
Hand-picked walnut veneer.
Unique belt and knot design with laser-etched logo.
2-piece grill

BSC Woofer - BSC (Basalt Sandwich Construction)
woofer is a unique Revival Audio technology. Basalt is extracted from lava stone which has never been used in Hi-End audio, with similar characteristics as glass fibre but with a better Young modulus. It is also an eco-sustainable material. The woofer is light weight and rigid, with great damping, providing fast and smooth response with tight bass dynamics.
